Everyone, Please Help The People Of The Texas Hill Country.
June 3, 2025 by Editorial Staff
Ladies and Gentlemen, as you’ve all heard the Texas Hill Country was devastated by flash floods over Independence Day. As I write this, we know that over seventy people have died, and the number will rise. Countless people have lost their loved ones and everything they own. Please help as much as you can.
Here are some vetted resources helping with Texas Hill Country relief. As most are nowhere near the disaster region, cash donations are desperately needed:
Kerr County Flood Relief Fund: Established by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country to support recovery efforts in affected communities such as Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort. (Link: https://communityfoundation.net/)
The Salvation Army: Provides emergency aid, food, supplies, and emotional support, with their Kerrville Kroc Center collecting donations. Donate at Emergency Disaster Services

World Central Kitchen: Offers fresh meals to affected communities. (Link: https://wck.org/)
Cross Kingdom Church (Kerrville): Accepts donations and distributes supplies at 3044 Junction Hwy Kerrville, TX 78028 (830) 367-3480. You can make a cash donation via PayPal, Strip or Venmo
If you know people directly affected by the disaster, here are some additional resources:
Mental Health Support: The Disaster Distress Helpline offers confidential support (800-985-5990 or text). (Link: https://www.samhsa.gov/find-help/disaster-distress-helpline)
Legal Assistance: The State Bar of Texas provides a legal hotline for low-income Texans (800-504-7030).
Please give what you can, spread this list out far and wide (email, social media, etc.) Right now Americans need to come together and help those in critical need.
