Just when you think the Democrats can’t get any lower, they are working to get cops killed. Not hyperbole.
Like countless people I watched the No Kings charade over the weekend. From what I saw it was mainly a combination of young blue hairdo non-binaries and veterans of the 1960s riots. There were politicians on the stages trying to get these fools to vote for them. Spoiler alert, the old already do, the young usually don’t vote, and a protest won’t change that. A meme from Facebook says it best, “I refuse to discuss geopolitics with people who eat soap and are confused by what bathroom to use.”
Now I did see some signs that piqued my curiosity. “No human is illegal,” and “No one is illegal on stolen land.” They seem to be against the Trump administration rather successful efforts in securing the border. Before January 20, 2025, the Biden/Harris regime was allowing an invasion of 10-12 thousand unknown people a day. Since the start of Trump-47, that number, over four states and almost 2,000 miles, has dropped to less than 300 a day. It is amusing that Mexico, which for years did nothing to assist us in stopping this invasion, is now securing its southern border. Illegal aliens from South America are flooding their cities and they don’t want to deal with it.
This is an issue to many of the criminal underworld. Narcotics traffickers, gangs, certain businesses and others rely on an open border. They need to keep drugs, women and children, and other items crossing into the US for criminal activities. And the cartels are not above murder. For decades they have openly recruited Mexican police to join them with promises of money. And they have murdered the law enforcement officers and their families. “In Guanajuato state, its population just over 6 million, more police were shot to death in 2023 — about 60 — than in all of the United States.” Not surprising for a gang that recruits and trains children for kidnapping and murder.
Reportedly the cartels are targeting American agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as well as other cops. And they are offering serious money. They have reportedly put a bounty on federal agents up to $50,000. Per the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), “Cartels are offering $2,000 for intelligence gathering and doxing of agents, $5,000–$10,000 for kidnapping or non-lethal assaults on standard ICE/CBP officers and up to $50,000 for the assassination of high-ranking officials.
Gangs like the Latin Kings have also deployed ‘spotters’ armed with firearms and radio communications to provide the real-time movements of CBP and ICE agents, according to DHS.” This is a legitimate threat to federal agents and their families. You would think even the most radical Democratic politicians would draw the line there. You would be wrong.
Leftist politicians are attempting to prohibit ICE agents from masking themselves to prevent doxing. Democrats in the Congress have proposed legislation requiring ICE agents be unmasked while operating. Radical city mayors and looney governors (Gruesome Newsome) have signed state laws requiring agents not be masked in their jurisdictions. I guess they missed the Supremacy Clause during constitutional law class.
They are organizing rent-a-mob protestors to interfere with detaining and expelling illegal aliens, including those with violent criminal history. Democrats use radical groups (e.g., The Tides Foundation) to fund lawsuits hampering law enforcement. An Obama judge actually ordered ICD agents to wear body cameras during operations. I for one am all for body worn cameras in open operations (secret judge, they overwhelmingly clear cops of accusations of wrongdoing), but I missed something. Where in Article III of the US Constitution does it give a district judge authority to set operational policy for an executive branch agency? Fortunately the Trump administration politely told her what she could do with herself.
Not to be outdone, JB Pritzker thinks he can charge federal agents under state law, for during their duties. From Legal Insurrection:
“So we’re looking at all of the options at the local level with county state’s attorneys, with attorneys general to go after people when they’re breaking Illinois law, when they’re breaking local law.”
Can this moron do this? I don’t think so. Per Seth Waxman, former Solicitor General of the US, “Subjecting federal officers to state criminal sanctions for carrying out their federally appointed duties could make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, for the federal government to function. Even the most dedicated federal servant would be reluctant to do his job conscientiously if he knew it could mean prison time in the state penitentiary. So no, even radical leftists with delusions of becoming president (see Gruesome, Pritzker) cannot charge federal agents for preforming their duties in their 3rd world states. They may have degraded their states to that level, but they are still under US jurisdiction.
It amazes me any law enforcement officer could be a Democrat. They are people who want chaos in the streets, an open invasion of our country, threats to cops and their families, and are ok with women and children being used for sex slavery. Exaggeration? Seeing one Democratic presidential nominee after another (in my lifetime) has demanded no border security and one amnesty after another, that’s a logical conclusion.
Another thing to consider. Law enforcement is just recovering from the Democratic war from the Obama/O’Biden years. Recruiting is up, cops are more trusting of this administration than the last two, and we’re making progress on handing the invasion of the last two decades. But this will change. At some point in the future a Democrat will make it back to the presidency and it’s a safe assumption, attempt to undue to progress we’ve made. Targeting cops (see Darren Wilson and Derek Chauvin) with lawfair, openly threatening LEOs and their families, and embracing domestic terrorist groups (ANTIFA/BLM). God help us when a Democrat is next elected president.
