Strange weather we’ve been having lately. When I say “lately,” I could go back decades, but I’ll stick to just the past five years or so. Do you recall the winter storm that hit the central and southern US, including Texas and northern Mexico in February of 2021? It was called “Winter Storm Uri,” and at least 240 people died because of it. A strong Arctic air mass plunged deep into the southern US. More than 9 million people lost power while facing record-breaking cold, snow and ice.
In Texas, even the wind turbines froze up. My daughter and her family live and work at a Christian camp there. They, too, lost all power and everyone needed to gather in the main assembly building, which thankfully, was heated by a large wood-burning fireplace. They were without power for days.
Just four months after that deep freeze in the south, we had the “Pacific Northwest Heat Dome,” in the Northwest. The heat lasted five days in late June that year, with temperatures reaching 121 degrees. Over a thousand people died, and the power grid was once again overwhelmed.
A year later, we had the Yellowstone Floods, affecting southern Montana and northwestern Wyoming. This event caused severe damage to communities, roads and infrastructure, after torrential rainfall combined with snowmelt runoff from the surrounding mountains. My wife and I visited a friend in that area later that summer, and saw the devastation firsthand.
In July of 2023, severe flooding in the Northeastern US caused over $500 million in damages in Vermont and nearby states after 9 inches of water fell in 48 hours. And then a month later, the fires that destroyed the historic town of Lahaina on Maui, with over 100 people dead and others still missing.
In September of 2024, we were hit with Hurricane Helene, which brought massive devastation far inland, destroying much of western North Carolina and Tennessee. While remnants of hurricanes and tropical storms have affected Appalachia in previous years, the sheer devastation of this one caused it to be labeled as “generational,” “historic” and even “of Biblical proportions” by media reporters. Thousands lost everything. Many still haven’t been able to rebuild and have now spent three winters in temporary shelters.
In 2025, there were the Los Angeles fires, driven by 70-mile-per-hour winds. Over 800,000 acres were destroyed, including 18,000 structures. That’s the equivalent of a small city. More than 150,000 people were displaced (the equivalent of a large city) and there were at least 25 confirmed deaths.
And while this was going on, another flood of “Biblical proportions” hit Central Texas on the 4th of July. The worst destruction hit near Hunt, Texas as the Guadalupe River rose more than 26 feet in 45 minutes. The National Weather Service had warned of possible rainfall totals of 5-8 inches. People there were not prepared for 26 feet!
At a Christian camp for girls, 28 people died, including 25 children between the ages of 8 and 10, two counselors and the camp director. Overall in Texas, the flood killed 140 people.
A month later, parts of the Milwaukee metro area received over 14 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. At least two people died, more than 500 homes and 50 businesses were badly damaged or destroyed and state and local agencies described it as a “1,000-year flood event.”
Now, let me share my personal experience from a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful, sunny Wednesday afternoon. Not a cloud in the sky and a “zero-percent” chance of rain in the forecast. It was the nicest weather we’d had all spring. But I was working in my office. Then, I went into the recording studio to produce a radio program. When I went in, the weather outside was about as perfect as it could be.
My recording studio is a sound-proof room, but within ten minutes, I heard an intense “hammering” noise. Unusual, because, as I said, it’s a sound-proof room. I stopped recording and went to see what the situation was. Now, ten minutes after the beautiful blue skies, the sky was almost pitch black and we were getting pounded by baseball-size hail.
I rushed to get my vehicle into the garage and was nearly knocked unconscious from the hail stones. (I still have bumps on my head). Although I rushed my van inside the garage as quickly as possible, the damage had been done. Meanwhile, my wife was at a business a few miles away with her vehicle in a parking lot. She couldn’t even leave the building until after the storm eased up.
It was so intense, the insurance adjuster counted 196 dents on my van, which was only outside about five minutes. My wife’s vehicle came within $500 of being a total loss. Meanwhile, our home sustained more than $30,000 in damages.
As soon as I could, I looked at the weather radar on my phone. This was a very small storm that came out of nowhere, unannounced, and hovered over our town for a half hour, then just disappeared. I’ve never, in my life, seen hailstones that large. And although it was 80 degrees outside, the ice from the hail still hadn’t melted four hours later.
Suffice to say, our entire community will be seeing construction workers and home repair contractors for the rest of the summer and into the fall. Car dealers lost their entire inventories. The local Walmart had to close their grocery section because the hail had broken through the roof and rain was coming in. Trees were stripped of leaves, which were now in drifts, similar to snowbanks, in the streets and everywhere else.
I watch the weather pretty closely, which is why I know there was no chance of rain in the forecast. But the next day, news reports stated there were storm warnings posted in advance. If that’s the case, they couldn’t have been issued more than five minutes in advance, because as I said, this storm came from nowhere and then just disappeared.
I was reminded of the hailstones mentioned in Scripture. In particular, the seventh plague God sent upon Egypt. Exodus 9, “…and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and lightning struck the earth. So the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. The hail fell and continued to fall, and lightning flashed through it. So severe was the hail that nothing like it had occurred in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation. Throughout the land of Egypt, the hail struck down everything in the field, both man and beast; it beat down every plant of the field and shattered every tree.”
Then we have Revelation 16 speaking about part of God’s end-times judgments. “And great hailstones, about a hundred pounds each, rained down on them from above. And men cursed God for the plague of hail, because it was so horrendous.”
I’m not claiming that all the recent strange weather has been geo-engineered, but anyone who’s been paying even a little attention the past six decades or so, knows that the Globalists are desperate to push their “Climate Change” agenda. As a child in the 1970s, I’d constantly read about the soon-coming global “ice age.” That narrative changed to “Global Warming” by the 1990s, and that morphed into the more versatile “Climate Change” by the early 2000s.
There are multiple reasons for the fear mongering of “Climate Change.” First, a lot of people make a lot of money from environmental and climate fears. Of course, there are many non-profits and researchers profiting from this, but the bigger picture also includes the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the World Economic Forum and the World Energy Council — all pushing for a “carbon tax.” But taxes are simply a means to an end for social engineering and behavioral control. Carbon taxes limit how people use energy, which limits what activities they engage in, how they travel, heat their homes, etc. In a nutshell, the “tax” isn’t just about the money; it’s about controlling the people.
If you think the US will never have a “carbon tax,” you should know that Canada and Mexico already do. In Europe, carbon-taxed nations include Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Iceland, Ireland and France. Other nations include Japan, which calls theirs a “tax for Climate Change Mitigation.” But you can also add Singapore, Chile and South Africa to the list of nations currently imposing some type of “carbon tax” on their people.
Zooming out for a bigger picture of all this, understand that it’s also about depopulation — the same clarion call the Globalists have been pressing for years. You should understand that we — human beings — are the “carbon” they want to eliminate.
So, weather manipulation is often necessary to bring about enormous, wild storms that take many lives in tragic weather events. A fearful people quickly become compliant people. I’ve been hearing about “Saving the Planet” and “Mother Earth” my whole life. I don’t have time to go into all the details here regarding the cult of environmentalism, but suffice to say, our own government has been involved a very long time. There are hundreds of patents related to weather modification, going back to the year 1891. In 1962, then Vice-President Lyndon Johnson declared, “he who controls the weather controls the world.” For further study, look up Project Cirrus; look up a man named Irving Langmuir and General Electric’s Atmospheric Research Department, whose research focused on “weaponizing” the weather. Look up Project Stormfury and Operation Popeye, just to name a few.
But maybe it would be easiest to simply look UP! On a beautiful, sunny day without a cloud in the sky, chances are good that you’ll eventually see two or three jets flying parallel to one another, spewing long trails of “exhaust.” These clouds don’t disperse like regular contrails from jets, because they’re “chemtrails” — the planes are spewing deadly chemicals that do, indeed, affect the weather, along with our groundwater, forests, crops and the people who live here. These planes will continue until the sky’s filled with lines, then they’ll switch direction until you have that all-too-familiar “checkerboard” pattern in the sky, and soon the sky, previously totally blue, will be completely overcast…with no clouds appearing at all on weather radar.
The internet will tell you that “chemtrails” are mere conspiracy theories, but the “fact checkers” are running out of lame arguments to deny reality. Because now, history, registered patents, and honest scientists will show you the proof. They have the actual “receipts.” And the state of Tennessee has passed a law “prohibiting intentional injection or dispersion of substances into the atmosphere if the purpose is to change weather, affect temperature or reduce sunlight.” Look it up. Extreme weather is happening and God’s allowing it, for now. Revelation says one day those hailstones will weigh a hundred pounds and that men will curse God because of them. Of course they will…while still calling people like me “conspiracy theorists.” So many people out there just don’t know what they don’t know. And… when it rains, it pours!
