Be careful what you ask for because once the people who bleed blue stop caring, the darkness of the world will have no keepers. –Bradley Nickell Some time ago, I was contacted by a close friend living in a small city (Population 100K) over an issue concerning her. While she is very liberal politically, …
Some time ago I finished Volume 2 of Lee’s Lieutenants: A Study in Command by Douglas Freeman. Towards the end, I observed a passage on how General Lee managed to handle the ego of one of his great commanders, JEB Stuart. During the battle of Chancellorsville (May 1863), General Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson was mistakenly shot by …
Body Cams are a net positive for Law Enforcement…and could be used for other public applications

I posted on the case and draft ruling Tuesday, but with this meme as a backdrop, I would like to add onto that post. I’ve heard countless assaults on the …
Will Dobbs v Jackson be a turn back to a republic, and movement away from autocracy
Texas does not tolerate cop killers; Texas cops will send the murderer off in a special way.
Cops do what is required to bring order to chaos; that is often not congenial.
No matter how much you try to manipulate people, they will work to avoid it.
College. Worth Less, More And More Another example of why universities are becoming less for education and training, more for indoctrination of young people. A few months back I was reading an article in Medium, a liberal online column site. I only subscribe because a close friend started writing for them last year, and I love …
Sex change for kids. The latest attack by the left on children and childhood.
After decades of not instilling a patriotic belief in our children, we have young people who do not think anything is worth fighting or dying for The men of Normandy had faith that what they were doing was right, faith that they fought for all humanity, faith that a just God would grant them mercy …
Federal anti-lynching legislation is more leftist form over substance and will not prevent one murder…which is already illegal.
