Here we have this tiny nation, surrounded by countries with populations vastly greater than its own, and Jerusalem remains one of the most disputed and contentious places on the face of the earth.
I have been studying Bible prophecy for a long time, and particularly the Sixth Trumpet War for the last several years. The more I study it and the more I look at what is happening around us, the harder it becomes for me to dismiss a very uncomfortable possibility. The Sixth Trumpet War may have already begun. I am not saying the nuclear phase has begun. Obviously it hasn’t. What I am wondering is whether we are already watching the opening conventional, political and military stages of a conflict that ultimately becomes the Sixth Trumpet War described in Revelation. I want to make something clear right up front. I am not a prophet. I am a teacher and a student of prophecy. I don’t receive new revelation telling me what happens next. I don’t need to. The prophets already did the prophesying, and a remarkable amount of Scripture is prophetic.
Imagine waking up to headlines proclaiming, “The Vatican Confirms the Existence of Intelligent Extraterrestrial Life.” With one statement, the spiritual and scientific foundations of billions would be shaken. But what would such a declaration really mean? For those who take biblical prophecy seriously, it might not be the dawn of new enlightenment—but the beginning of a global deception foretold in Scripture.
We are living in bizarre times unlike anything we have ever seen. It’s getting more intense, first by the year, then by the month, and now by the day. Violence is everywhere. Both Left and Right have dug in. The free world depends on a strong America while the Left continually chips away at it.
Humanity has been sorted out. God’s ancient people, the Hebrews who are still on earth are all His.
