The Left pretends following Christ as a Christian and serving America as a citizen is in conflict when it serves their purposes. They can’t comprehend opposing Islam and caring about individual Muslims at the same time.
We, The People, must recruit politicians to not be politicians for a “revolutionary season” to save America. Since politics is a business, it means getting patriots in office who won’t be “business as usual” Establishment tools.
American Christianity is about Christ and more. Much more. Because without Christianity the “much more” becomes much less – and actually devolves to awful.
Jay Jones, the Virginia Democrat candidate for Attorney General texted about shooting a Republican, Todd Gilbert, and his wife and children to death. Murdering a family for the parents’ politics. Democrats defend those words as just a bad joke or try to establish moral equivalence with their Trump outrage de jour.
Charlie Kirk’s life mattered because Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield’s lives mattered. Likewise, Charles Finney and Lyman Beecher. Dwight Moody after that. Those ministers may not be household names, but Americans think and live differently because they lived.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated. He will be an American political and cultural icon for some time to come. He is an explicitly American Christian martyr for the ages.
