I can’t believe I’m publicly admitting this. I finally agreed to watch Hulu’s interpretation of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale. I was going to keep it a secret, but when the Hildabeast said that a female Republican President would be a “handmaiden for the patriarchy,” my personal handmaiden – the one that runs the Green family – informed me it was time to come clean.
I’d like to pick on Jacob Frey today – the testicularly deficient Mayor of Minneapolis, who sat idly by while “mostly peaceful” protesters burned his city to the ground.
Self-governance advocates have always supported robust debate, where the pros and cons of competing ideas are discussed, and voters are allowed to make informed decisions. Conversely, in recent years, it has been the anti-democratic radicals who shout down speakers, claiming that their ideas are too dangerous to be heard. That is, until an Article V convention is the subject. Then the roles reverse.
Now that Joe Biden has shown us that adherence to Democrat party dogma leads to calamity, where does the party go next? Advocating for the due process rights of MS-13 gang members – that’s where.

Obama District Judge Paula Xinis is madder than Joe Biden after being asked an unscripted question. She directed the Trump administration to open a federal coyote ring, and get busy smuggling illegals into to the United States. The Donald has been less than enthusiastic with his compliance, and she is mightily offended by his lack of deference to her court.
I hope our dedicated public servants in black robes occupying the building with “Equal Justice Under Law” laughably inscribed on the front, are cancelling their summer vacations. They’ve been shirking their chores since 2017, and now they need to get the courts under control again.
It bothers me when someone uses another person’s name and reputation to advance their own position, without the other’s consent or agreement. Yet that is a favorite tactic of Article V convention opponents – frequently attributing convention of states opposition to the late Justice Antonin Scalia.
Are we approaching a chaos event horizon – the point at which we’ll lack the moral foundation to self-govern? The evidence that the values essential for democracy are disappearing from our society is overwhelming.
The ideological pendulum has been swinging in American politics for generations. “Government is the problem” leaders work to shrink the federal government. They have inevitably been followed by “government is the solution” leaders who grow the size and power of government.
Our current federal debt stands at nearly 37 trillion dollars. That’s more than a “37” with 12 zeroes behind it. It’s an amount of money which is nearly impossible for the human mind to grasp.
The Dems said that if we elected Donald Trump our democracy would be a risk … and they were right. Since we had the temerity to elect the Donald, the left’s rogue judges have decided that it’s their sacred duty to rescue us from the calamity of self-governance.
The Trump administration has deported 238 illegal aliens, who were members of the terrorist gang Tren de Aragua. District Judge James Boasberg has ordered the President to return them to the United States. The Dems are insisting that it will be a constitutional crisis if the President refuses to comply with the judge’s order. Their reasoning is completely backwards.
The first rule of survival is to make decisions with your head rather than your hormones. Emotional decision making rarely enhances one’s chances of survival. One should avoid the anger, fear, and panic; coldly consider the options available; and select the best course of action, even if it’s not perfect. In other words, don’t behave like the Democrats currently are.
On March 12, 2025, Idaho chose to stay on the sidelines. The Idaho House of Representatives decided that they would not use their Article V power to join 19 other states calling for term limits, fiscal restraints, and restrictions on government overreach. For now, Idaho will be sitting this battle out
Honest Abe Lincoln said: “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.” Of course that didn’t stop the Dems from trying to fool everyone, forever. They figured they could use narratives – or “lies” to be more honest – to sell socialism to America.
