However, that changed in the Western world after the fall of the Roman Empire in Europe. The idea was that warriors should always protect the weak and innocent (chivalric code). In modern times, the world reverted back to total war during WW1 and WW2.
The US Constitution: Where is it?
Where is that document that defined our nation? Is it now only a remnant of our past? I ask the question using the past tense, because I see us as not living under the umbrella of the Constitution, like I thought we were, as recently as November, 2020.
