As what the Weather Channel has been calling Winter Storm Elliot — and has any other media outlet picked up on the Channel’s naming of ‘winter storms? — is blasting through the lower 48, there are all sorts of interesting news items. It’s 2º F at the farm right now, but the wind chill is …
Hallmark has decided that it is no longer the channel for just traditional family entertainment and has instead, embraced perverse behaviors.
The NRO FIA program continues to struggle on the optical side, while the radar and ground deliveries hum along. However, radar is no substitute for optical and as we close on demonstrating some uses that exemplify the value of radar while acknowledging such, FIA failure to deliver has brought the community to the brink of a Gap in capability.
Climate fools are undermining all the advantages we have gained from easily obtainable energy from fossil fuels.
An Open Letter to my Fellow Army General Officers- We all commissioned into the Army with ideals and a determination to make a difference. We would lead with character, create effective teams to win on future battlefields, and advance our beloved institution, all the while, remaining loyal to our Constitution. There is an old maxim that goes: “Figures lie, and liars figure.” What follows is an excellent example of that adage. We are constantly bombarded by images, commentaries, and dodgy statistics about our nation that do not reflect demographic or social reality. Watch movies, TV series, and television commercials critically for a few days. Look …
Henry Ford creates the assembly line and Def Sec McNamara creates a DoD program budget methodology that works very well for many programs but is not a panacea in consideration of Moore’s law. Meanwhile the NRO FIA program keeps digging (spending) in an attempt to buy their way to completion.
The recent release of 13,000 documents by the U.S. National Archives concerning the Kennedy Assassination is another coordinated, Washington D.C. distraction.
This 7-part series demonstrates that although the Democrat party claims to care about Blacks and other minorities, their claims are far removed from the truth.
American Karens Vote Commie. The Blue breakwater to the Red Wave was single women and young people. Other demographics moved as expected. Single Women voting for the disaster that is Biden Administration have to be as doctrinaire as the most carping, Pandemic-crazed Karens imaginable. The young people voting for Human Secular Totalitarianism have the more charitable …
We should always consider what we promise in the Preamble to our Constitution, the supreme law of our land and what should guide our costs and legislatures.
Independent journalist Michael Shellenberger dropped the seventh tranche of the “Twitter Files” on Monday and it was a doozy. The latest data dump portrays the FBI in the worst light yet. De-escalation training is not for people in mental crisis, and unless a suspect is willing to de-escalate, it won’t work. Again, according to our political betters, we need to teach the cops to de-escalate. Not the civilians. While on patrol last week I found this interesting article on what our great leaders (excuse me, just …
Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald delivered a memorable and hard-hitting speech at the University of Utah in April 2015 titled “Edward Snowden and the Secrets of the National Security State.” His remarks focused on the National Security Agency’s collection of billions of communications of ordinary, law abiding U.S. citizens. He emphasized that, even then, nearly eight …
It’s not often I get PO’ed, but the Brittney Griner release has me in that mode. But what really fires me up are those athletes who would kneel for the national anthem. To them I say, that’s your right, but for the sake of all of us who don’t support your childish behavior, please give …
The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was is lost…J.R.R. Tolkien What Democrats have done these last several years is so villainous, so corrupt, so deplorable as to be the most depraved criminal activity ever perpetrated on …
Listening to Dr Fauci testimony to Congress was an interesting discussion. My take and speaking as a scientist I find that science is for sale. Having been in the science industry for many years (Since 1978) in fact science is an industry in want of funding. Unfortunately, we have brilliant people doing scientific work they …
For you ladies out there who are fans of the TV series, “Yellowstone,” you don’t really want a “Rip” for a husband. Let’s be honest, most of you can’t handle his character’s level of masculinity. He’s not going to put up with or tolerate your BS, he works sun up to sun down, he doesn’t make …
Leftists like to spout baseless drivel about how certain demographics do not pay their fair share of the tax burden. This is a typical tool of the Marxists and America haters to foment class and racial unrest. The US does not have a taxation problem. We have a spending problem. The Federal overlords spend way …
Supposedly good intentions by goodly intentioned people have brought us down this hellish road as they are wont to do. I have serious doubts as to how good those intentions or people ever were or are.
