In the days since President Joe Biden announced that al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri had been killed by a CIA drone strike, much ink has been spilled about his life and his spectacular death. Much of the debate has focused on the effectiveness, or lack thereof, of U.S. over-the-horizon counterterrorism capabilities. Conspicuously missing from Biden’s primetime address on Monday night …
Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri actually made himself a relatively soft target for the CIA. Obviously feeling safe inside the Taliban-ruled country, his daily habits, particularly his fondness for spending time on his balcony, became quite easy to predict. At 6:18 a.m. local time on Sunday, as the terrorist sat on the balcony of his …
Don’t get me wrong. I’m delighted that Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri is dead. And happier still that President Joe Biden, given his well-known opposition to the May 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden, authorized the operation. While it’s always good to take out a terrorist leader, the White House is characterizing the strike …
Quemoy and Matsu, officially known as the Kinmen and Lienchiang Counties respectively, are groups of islands located directly off the coast of mainland Communist China, but are under the administration of the Republic of China, Taiwan. “Whole Process Democracy” is a Marxist euphemism that masks a communist dictatorship
The knives came out for Donald Trump the day he descended the golden escalator to launch his 2016 presidential run. The announcement had sent shockwaves throughout Washington, D.C., and before too long, an elaborate plan to destroy his candidacy had taken shape. The DNC, the Hillary Clinton campaign and top Obama administration officials, aided by …
I have said it often in my posts, and I will say it again. China is not our friend. Far from it. In fact, China is our number one enemy, and the American people in general and our political leaders, in particular, had better wake up sooner than later to that reality. With House Speaker …
Debris from a 25-ton Chinese Long March 5B rocket crashed to earth on Saturday afternoon over the Indian Ocean. This not the first time the Chinese have failed to control the reentry of space debris and it likely won’t be the last. One thing is certain: If this “space junk” had fallen over a populated …

The Supreme Court, with its GOP appointed majority, may start sending back issues to the legislatures, where they belong.
“If there were more women in leadership positions around the world there would be less conflict and less war,” Peter Clavalle, board chair of the Vermont Council on World Affairs.
Greetings my fellow Americans! I continue to be fascinated (in a manner of speaking) by the way news media in the U.S. and around the world are permitted to decide for the rest of us what is and is not important, and to which “issues” we should give attention in order to drive our behavior. …
Communist China is focused like a laser-beam on reducing India’s influence in South Asia.
U.S. border officials encountered 234,088 migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border in April, topping March’s 22-year high of just over 221,000, according to a court document filed Monday. April marks the fourth time in the Biden administration that monthly border encounters have topped 200,000. Each undocumented migrant who either reports to the authorities at legal ports …
China is is at war with the United States; there are just no bullets flying…yet
The PRC’s constitution is vague and arbitrarily enforced by the CCP, just as Xi Jinping prefers.
As our allies in the Pacific lose faith in America, they need to prepare to defend themselves. A credible nuclear force is part of that.
Whether by incompetence or design, it’s plain that the Democrats are steering the ship-of-state toward an iceberg. What do you do when your own government begins to tear the country apart? What do you do when they take the greatest nation on earth, extraordinary in all of history, and decide to break the civic …
