The Name Game
The night I was born, my mother took me into her arms and decided that she was going to name me Elvis.
My aunt recalls: “Your mama loved Elvis. Plus, you were a Capricorn, you know. Elvis and Jesus were Capricorns.”

“Privatize the profit – socialize the costs?” You betcha.
Utility companies are their own personalized legal black hole. Private companies own them – but get all sorts of government cronyism to aid and abet their profit making and taking.
It’s a quintessential example of the Diet Fascism that now dominates the US.
Fox News contributors Kellyanne Conway and Marc Thiessen and Democratic strategist Kevin Walling discuss Vice President JD Vance’s comments on the US-Iran ceasefire on ‘The Story.’
If we trust a service member overseas with a loaded rifle, real rules of engagement, and life-and-death decisions in a combat zone, it makes no sense to suddenly treat that same disciplined professional like a liability the moment they step onto a stateside installation; this policy correction acknowledges a simple truth long overdue—responsibility doesn’t evaporate at the gate. The men and women we entrust to defend the nation are trained, vetted, and held to standards far above the civilian baseline, and if we truly believe in that system, then extending reasonable trust for personal defense at home isn’t radical, it’s consistent. And if someone genuinely cannot be trusted with a firearm under controlled conditions on base, then the harder question isn’t about policy—it’s about why they’re in uniform in the first place.
Hair Style: Why do so many of today’s girls and women part their hair down the middle in a straight, flat, unimaginative, copycat style? Are they aware they are signifying their acquiescence to conformity, i.e., socialism/communism? Goldilocks on men…come on.
Ret. Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg explains President Donald Trump’s negotiation style amid the Iran conflict on ‘Hannity.’
There’s one thing the Democrat party can’t allow. It’s their kryptonite – transparency. The moment 50 percent of the voters learn the Dems are a crime family rather than a political party, their electoral prospects will dim substantially.
Just three years ago, Rubio and Tim Kaine succeeded in getting Congress to prohibit the president from unilaterally suspending, terminating, denouncing, or withdrawing the U.S. from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization without the approval of two-thirds of the Senate.
Trump has a hard enough time getting one-third of the Senate to agree with him, let alone two.
But he has a phone and a pen. And he has a growing plurality of Americans who believe NATO’s time ended when the Soviet Union died.
We like to pretend we live in a fierce two-party system. Red vs. blue. Left vs. right. Cable news gladiators screaming like it’s the Super Bowl of righteousness. But step back far enough and the illusion fades. What you actually see is one bird with two wings—and that bird doesn’t care about your values, your vote, or your virtue. It worships one thing: money.
SBA administrator Kelly Loeffler argues that President Donald Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts Act is facilitating growth among small businesses on ‘Kudlow.’
“‘The message is clear,’ New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez, whose investigation resulted in a jury finding on Tuesday that Meta must pay $375 million for failing to protect kids from child predators, told POLITICO in an interview. ‘It’s time to change the way these companies do business.’
“Yeah, I got a story for you,” said the old woman in the nursing home.
She had midnight skin, dandelion-fuzz hair, and she smoked Newports. Each day she liked to park her wheelchair in the parking lot where she could face the supermarket, and watch all the happy customers walk in and out of Publix.
It seems fitting this Easter to talk about rebirth and renewal. I have come to conclusions that were difficult to conceive just a few years ago.
Let me be direct:
To restore peace and security to this great country, we must dissolve the Democrat Party. It has become a domestic enemy. The far-left Marxist wing of the party has taken over, and the moderate wing has shown little interest in taking it back.
Bloomberg’s Benedikt Kammel discusses the impact of the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran on airlines and the implications for jet fuel prices and air fares.
Somewhere in the Pentagon filing cabinets sits a 2017 document that reads less like doctrine and more like a warning label we ignored. The Joint Concept for Access and Maneuver in the Global Commons (JAM-GC) laid it out plainly: the United States wins wars because we can show up anywhere on earth, kick in the door, and maneuver freely across air, sea, space, and cyber. That’s our superpower. Not just firepower—access. And the bad guys figured that out.
Mullin: “Seriously, if they are a sanctuary city and receiving international flights, and we are asking them to partner with us at the airport, but once they walk out of the airport, they are not going to enforce immigration policy. Maybe we should have a hard look at that . . .”
As a somewhat frequent participant in Catholic discussions on Twitter — I still refuse to call it 𝕏, the dumbest rebranding of the 21st century — I’ve been seeing a ton of posts about the surge in Catholic converts. Apparently, the algorithms see what we like, and send more of the same our way! Many …

By initiating Operation Epic Fury, President Trump has pulled the trigger on a strategic reset in the Middle East. This is the third act in a campaign that has unfolded from June 2025 through March 2026. Epic Fury is not a single military event but a phased, coordinated strategic campaign with no clear precedent in post-Cold War American foreign policy. Understanding it requires tracing the sequence.
There are two types of people in the world this morning—those who are elated that the American military rescued the pilot and the weapons system officer of a downed F-15E deep in Iran, and then there are those who are unhappy. Whatever you may call the second group critics or communists, liars or losers, or dead-enders or Democrats, their rooting for Iran to prevail in this conflict is tedious and TDS.
