Romans 13 and Revelation 13 aren’t enemies. They’re bookends. One describes government as God intended it to be: rewarding good and restraining evil. The other warns what happens when government abandons that mission and begins demanding loyalty that belongs to God alone. History is filled with examples of Romans 13 being used to justify kings, slavery, and authoritarian regimes, while Scripture repeatedly reminds believers that their highest allegiance is not to a political party, a flag, or a nation. What happens when a nation begins to lose faith in its own elections, institutions, and leaders? History suggests that political polarization can quickly become tribalism, and tribalism can consume a republic from within. But Christians have walked this road before. The Bible never calls believers to place their ultimate hope in governments, political parties, or personalities. Instead, it teaches an ordered loyalty: love your country, serve your neighbors, pray for your leaders—but worship God alone. When the world grows chaotic, the Church should become the calmest place in it, remembering that while kingdoms rise and fall, the Kingdom of God has never required a recount.

Without eyes to see or ears to hear
The worms have only hunger.
They have a single purpose
To gorge themselves on plunder.

You think they care if they destroy
What others gave their lives to build?
Or that they respect the flesh they eat?…
Now – watch them take their fill.

Without logic, without love,
The worms will simply eat.
When all is fallen and consumed
Their work is now complete.

All worms are not beneath the soil.
In our midst, they will despoil
What is good and what is fine,
What is true, what is divine.

Don’t seek to reason with the worms,
It is a futile task
– Just decide if you will fight –
Or be consumed at last!

The WNBA is different from the NBA in more ways than one

  • Enes Kanter did us a service by declaring for the 2027 WNBA draft, exposing the hypocrisy of the ‘transgender’ agenda; and
  • Having done that, Mr Kanter needs to stop acting like a clown
  • Males — I won’t call them men — need to stay out of women’s sports, restrooms, and locker rooms

The left seem determined to hold that the ‘transgendered’ are actually the sex they claim to be, rather than the sex biology has made them. They believe that men and women are absolutely equal, something which should be true under the law, but is clearly not the case when it comes to physical ability. Males are simply, as a general thing, bigger, taller, stronger, quicker, and faster than females; the concept of sexual dimorphism has been known for as long as humans were aware of sex, and it exists not only in humans, but virtually all animals. Males being larger and stronger than females occurs in most animal species, though the reverse is true in a few of them. But those who insist that men and women are absolutely equal simply cannot bear to acknowledge that: if men are bigger and stronger than women, then the left and the feminists worry that such implies that men are superior to women, and that simply cannot be accepted.
